Frequently asked questions

I have ticklish feet. Is it worth me trying reflexology?
Yes. The pressure used is firm and actually is not tickly at all.

Do you ever combine homoeopathy and reflexology?
I sometimes give clients a remedy to take a few days after a reflexology treatment if I think it will speed up a recovery process. Then when there is an improvement it is clearer to me whether the remedy has worked alone or whether both therapies were useful. Occasionally if someone is in acute pain I would use any “tools” I have.

Do you do home visits?
These can be arranged in special circumstances if you are within a ten mile radius of my home. I do charge extra to cover petrol and travelling time.

I have a problem with my foot but would like to try reflexology.
The same reflex points are situated on the hands so I can work on the hand instead of the affected foot.

Will my health insurance cover any treatments?
HSA cover registered homoeopaths but not reflexologists. (BUPA only covers homoeopaths that are doctors). I believe Healthshield cover registered reflexologists but things do change.

I’m still unsure whether any of these treatments will suit me.
In such cases I can do a free 20 minute demonstration session to give you some idea of how I work.
